Villa Jongerius Conference

On Friday, November 10th, we will once again host the Villa Jongerius Conference in Utrecht. An annual event where we share the latest trends and best practices in recruitment and labour market communication with member organisations of the AcademicTransfer cooperative.

Netherlands Branding

This year’s theme is Netherlands Branding. How can we effectively showcase the Dutch labour market for scientists on a global stage? What key messages do we want to convey, and what image do we want to project?

Keynote speakers

  • Mark de Vos is Head of International Staff Mobility (ISM) at the University of Copenhagen and Global President of the International Dual Career Network (IDCN). He explains how Denmark has set up an appealing brand in a short amount of time. What can we learn from this success story?
  • Choi Mi Chung and Rutger de Graaf are both working at RVO. RVO is responsible for the Netherlands brand in all its forms. They set out what we are already doing in terms of Netherlands Branding and where opportunities lie.

    Choi monitors and gives direction to everyone who speaks on behalf of the Netherlands, to ensure consistency in content and form. Rutger is director of the Netherlands Point of Entry.
