On Wednesday afternoon, November 12, we are organising the Villa Jongerius Conference in Utrecht again. The annual event about working in science in the Netherlands. We share trends and best practices with the members of the AcademicTransfer cooperative.
This year’s theme is Steering AI: Recruiting without bias. On control, trust, and responsibility in academic selection.
We’re pleased to confirm our keynote speaker: Inge Brattinga. She is a privacy and AI specialist, working as a legal expert and lecturer-researcher.

Keynote speaker
Inge Brattinga is a privacy and AI specialist, lawyer, and lecturer–researcher at the Juridische Hogeschool (Research Group on Law and Digital Technology). She helps companies deal responsibly with new technologies.
At the Villa Jongerius Conference she will talk about the legal framework around AI in recruitment. Topics include privacy, discrimination, and the new European AI Regulation. What is not allowed, and what is possible instead? In short: practical insights ready to be applied.
