Science and academia are highly international. International cooperation allows knowledge to grow. AcademicTransfer strives to reach academics and researchers all over the world, to persuade them to continue their careers in the Netherlands and to help them find a position with your organisation.
Each year, we select international career events at which to recruit talent in cooperation with the Dutch knowledge institutions.
A PhD recruitment event in another country puts you in direct contact with academics and researchers. It's an ideal opportunity to draw international attention to your organisation. Individual interviews with the candidates on location ensure an effective first round in the selection procedure.
In the overview below you can see all future events.

Moving abroad to live and work is a big step. Not only are international candidates looking for a job, they are eager to learn more about the country to which they are headed. In order to help academics from other countries orient themselves to a scientific career in the Netherlands, we have established the FactCards information platform. As a result, all relevant information on living, working and conducting research in the Netherlands is available in a single location.
FactCards consists of ‘cards’ featuring facts about the Netherlands. These cards are grouped into five main themes: arriving, living, studying, working and research. Each card bears a brief introduction to a topic and a link to the source page where the visitor can continue reading or learn about the subject in greater depth.
Did you know it's possible to arrange to have a FactCard displayed on your organisation's website as well? Make use of the compiled facts about the Netherlands. Ask us about the possibilities.
