Villa Jongerius Conference

On Friday, November 10th, we will once again host the Villa Jongerius Conference in Utrecht. An annual event where we share the latest trends and best practices in recruitment and labour market communication with member organisations of the AcademicTransfer cooperative.

Netherlands Branding

This year’s theme is Netherlands Branding. How can we effectively showcase the Dutch labour market for scientists on a global stage? What key messages do we want to convey, and what image do we want to project?

Keynote speakers

  • Mark de Vos is Head of International Staff Mobility (ISM) at the University of Copenhagen and Global President of the International Dual Career Network (IDCN). He explains how Denmark has set up an appealing brand in a short amount of time. What can we learn from this success story?
  • Choi Mi Chung, RVO, RVO, is responsible for the Netherlands brand in all its forms. She monitors and gives direction to everyone who speaks on behalf of the Netherlands, to ensure consistency in content and form. She sets out what we are already doing in terms of Netherlands Branding and where the opportunities lie.

If you work in recruitment, international office, career services, HR, research, education, (labour market) communication, or management at one of our member organisations, you are more than welcome to join us!

Language

The programme will be conducted in both English and Dutch. An interpreter will be available for those who are not fluent in Dutch. If you intend to use this service, please register as soon as possible, but no later than Wednesday, September 27th. We will provide this service only if there is enough interest.
